Holla At Chour Birfday Gurl!

Oh deary me! It's here! Well almost here. In just a few short days I will be turning the big 2-0! Ok. So for the rest of the world this isn't that big of a deal. But for me it's a HUGE deal! I will no longer be a teen. For me it's the first time I'll actually feel like an adult. I'm two decades old! I actually survived 20 years on this planet! It's a miracle! I am so, so, so, SO excited. I know it won't be a big deal for everyone else. Sure I'll get the usual birthday cards from some of my family, there will be the family party on Sunday (mmm sugar free cake anyone?), but besides that I plan on having a very bland birthday. It's sad because it's the biggest birthday EVER for me. I don't and won't drink to the 21st birthday isn't a big deal so everything from here on is all downhill. So, like usual, it's up to me to make this birthday the best one yet! I don't have a plan yet, but I'm open to suggestions! So have at it! How should I celebrate my 20th?

To The Beat of My Heart

I have been obsessed with music since forevaaaaaaa. I love music! I love the way a song can mean so much and touch so many people. I love how just one verse can mean something for millions of people. LOVE IT! I know music influences me in many ways. It definitely influences my artwork. Often when I go out to shoot pictures I have my iPod plugged in and I let my soul jam out. I suppose I'm writing about music tonight for several reasons- 1) I love it (did I mention that already?)  2) I watched American Idol tonight and The Voice. AND 3) I have a new playlist located below.
Music has a truly amazing power. It can cure your blues. It can express what you want to do. It can do whatever you need it to do at the time. To those of you who create those notes and melodies that whisper sweet nothings in my ears- thank you.
The songs that I've added to my playlist are some that I recently (and maybe not so recently) have grown to love. I like the beats and the words. Some relate to what I'm going through right now and some relate to things of my past. But make sure to check it all out and listen for yourself.
So yes. I love music. I know I've said that a gazillion times in this post, but I do! I hope wherever you are and whoever you are you're taking time to listen to some of your favorite tunes...right meow.

DANG! It's been a long time since I updated this! I have so many thoughts!!!!! Possibly several entries? Yes. Do believe I will be doing that. Also, I think it's time to do a little spring cleaning and redo this blog. Yes!!! Ok well first I suppose I will add some pictures since I haven't in 309r30948 years. So here ya go!
