To The Beat of My Heart

I have been obsessed with music since forevaaaaaaa. I love music! I love the way a song can mean so much and touch so many people. I love how just one verse can mean something for millions of people. LOVE IT! I know music influences me in many ways. It definitely influences my artwork. Often when I go out to shoot pictures I have my iPod plugged in and I let my soul jam out. I suppose I'm writing about music tonight for several reasons- 1) I love it (did I mention that already?)  2) I watched American Idol tonight and The Voice. AND 3) I have a new playlist located below.
Music has a truly amazing power. It can cure your blues. It can express what you want to do. It can do whatever you need it to do at the time. To those of you who create those notes and melodies that whisper sweet nothings in my ears- thank you.
The songs that I've added to my playlist are some that I recently (and maybe not so recently) have grown to love. I like the beats and the words. Some relate to what I'm going through right now and some relate to things of my past. But make sure to check it all out and listen for yourself.
So yes. I love music. I know I've said that a gazillion times in this post, but I do! I hope wherever you are and whoever you are you're taking time to listen to some of your favorite tunes...right meow.
